Becoming God's Instrument

When we align with the messenger of truth, we realize God's perfect

expression through us. Our practice then is to hone our " inner ear " to

listen for the Divine's voice amid the din of other, more familiar

messages. Amongst the chatter of criticism, thoughts of lack and

arguments about " why not, " we can tune our frequency to the still

small voice. When we open the flood-gates of Spirit's voice within us,

we drown out less worthy desires and surrender our attention and will

to the Divine.

Filled with God's desires and thoughts we find inspiration, support

and sometimes a gentle nudging to carry out a suggestion that feels

irrational. It is when we heed the desires of our heart through our

intuition that we become the " instrument through which life flows, "

according to Ernest Holmes.
