Monday, August 07, 2006 Quado Daily Portion " Sustain action and belief " It is so important to learn to sustain your actions and beliefs. An idea is a wonderful thing, but what brings it to life is the courage and the tenacity to fight for its survival, over and over, to sustain the energy it takes to bring it to full fruition, in spite of obstacles and setbacks. And in order to have this level of sustainability in your actions, you must have a deep-seated belief in your heart. So begin there, with belief and the idea, and then prepare yourself for what will come next. When you plant a tree, you must know that the seasons will come, that the storms of winter will blow and that then the drought of summer will follow. You must know also that it will take years for this tree to become what you have in your mind, a full grown tree, bearing golden, juicy peaches you may eat. And knowing this, you put a strong stake next to the little sapling and you watch over the tree as it grows, especially in its tender first years. You bring it extra water; you protect it from animals that roam; you build a fire to protect it from the winter frost. You do all of this because you know that life brings its seasons, and that every new thing needs time to establish itself in the ground before it can be left to flourish on its own. And if you are very, very smart, you may have several different types of trees growing. Some that will bear fruit in the summer. Others that will provide you with shelter from storms when they are older. Some that will simply grace your life with blossoming beauty. So many declare their belief and intention, focus on abundance, plant their ideas in the ground and then walk away, either distracted by a new idea or simply not realizing the effort that it may take, the protection and care a new growing thing needs. And then, when they return to find their idea trampled in the dust, they say: " How can this be? I intended it to grow. I had faith in an abundant universe. Obviously these spiritual techniques do not work. " The intention and the belief, the focus on abundance, is all to sustain you while you take action that supports your ideas. The belief is necessary to see you through the storms, for the storms will come. The intention will help you know what to do, will guide you through the steps necessary as you overcome obstacles and recover from setbacks. But it does not eliminate the seasons of life. These challenges are a part of life and you must not only be prepared for them, you must realize that each one you face and overcome will make you stronger, will make you more courageous, will give you the opportunity to show that you can sustain belief, that you can sustain effort, that you can grow into the power that is yourself. Accept this challenge. Accept your power. Wed action and belief and step up to all that you are. Here is a little prayer for today I know my power. I feel my belief, deep inside, the sure knowledge that I can do and be, that I can accomplish great things, through belief and sustained action, and through courage and love abounding. I am strong and capable and can rise to the challenges that present themselves. I embrace each one and take power and energy from it, making me stronger and stronger, day by day. I love my life. I love myself and my power and strength. I am power. I am love. I am. *** If you missed any Quado messages from the last week, you will find them on www.carriehart.com .
