Guest guest
Hi, I went by myself when I went--I was just fine and so very safe. You are going to be in great hands. It is very normal to be scared, happy and have all kinds of feelings and emotions going on ALL at the same time. You will love Dr. Aceves. He is the sweetest, most kind doctor I have every had. And the facility is really top of the line. Your care by the staff is 100 times better than anything you ever will get in any US hospital. They are there to make you comfortable and serve you. If you need something just ask them. I want you to know that the first month after the surgery is the hardest month you will have. But, you will manage it OK--it is only 30 days not a lifetime. If you have any questions or need anything, please feel free to contact me OK. The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner than I did it. I love my sleeve. Guest guest
I went by myself and I was pretty scared (my surgery buddy Darcey that I met there can attest to that. she picks on me for being such a wimp!) Everything went perfectly and the care I received there was far better than any hospital I have been to here in the states. Oh, and I always tell people bring a small pack of tissues. for some reason I dont think they believe in tissues there... If you have any questions or just need vent your worries. we are here for you! I will second what Suzanne said. the first 30 days are tough. you cant eat any real food and it is tough getting in all your protein and water but after the first 30 days life gets back to normal the only difference is you cant eat or drink as fast as you were able to before. > > I'm flying in next week for a virgin sleeve. > Little scared, I'm going alone. > > Thank you for all that you have written. > > It helps a lot. > > Theresa, > New York >
Guest guest
Hello group I have just found you. Last Saturday I woke up with bells palsy. Researching it on the web, came across this group. Could my case be related to c-toma? I have ear pain and experienced dizziness for a while especially whe I lie down. What a week. Thanks Zena
