Titanium implant and 3 weeks post-op - how easily do they shift?

Okay, here I go again; hope I am not boring anybody - just really concerned (3rd

surgery; all major ones, to me!).

Today I noticed when I put my head back to look up, it REALLY hurt. It felt like

I was being poked; and it also felt like something moved in my ear (I didn't

feel anything move, it felt as though perhaps since the last time I put my head

back (e.g. to wash hair yesterday in shower) something shifted).

Can you FEEL this titanium post if it moves out of place? Am I feeling things

because the gelfoam is clearing?

I go back to the doc in about 3 weeks; wish it was sooner. I feel better hearing

him say 'it is looking good'!

So stressful - hate all this.

Thanks for reading again!

Shari

P.S. Ladies, when you put your makeup on and make 'stretchy faces' (funny I

know), do you worry that this will shift things w/in the newly operated ear???

They don't put this girly-girl stuff on the Net anywhere, not on the physician's

sites anyway.
