I wonder how the surgeons came up with the idea that it will take a week to get

back to work after such a surgery. I have had 4 of them now, and it is not my

experience. I was in massive pain, awful dizzy and had naucea the first week.

During the second week I got a little better, but in no shape for work. During

the next weeks I got better and better for each day. Depending on what kind of

work one have and how fast the recovery takes I would guess it takes all from 1

week to several months before the shape is good enough for work. And off course

some may never be able to work again or only part-time.
