Guest guest
dear dave--i love the expression "a right skinful of beer," & will prob. find occasion to use it. my son, samuel, is 27--he has a rare genetic condition, ring chromosome 15, which has led to multiple surgeries for cholesteatoma, among other fun & games. i suspect in retrospect that he had congenital cholesteatoma. while his hearing is fluctuatingly lousy, he has rarely experienced dizziness. we did learn a number of years back when he was in physical therapy for a dislocated kneecap that he has virtually no vestibular function--he stood in a chamber & was directed to close his eyes, while the floor shifted front & back, side to side. his score was too low to chart. but i guess he's adapted well, since he mows lawns for a living... take care, holly lu
