Guest guest
Many people measure how may hours they get from their batteries. I only care about how may days I can go with my batteries so that I can be prepared in case I have to change them during a meeting or some other time at work. On a typical workday I " plug in " at 7AM and " unplug " at 10PM. I guess that means I get around 45 hours out of each set of three but that can change depending on the level of noise I experience, the weather, the quality of the weakest battery of the three, etc. I am talking about the disposable #675 here. I haven't yet tried the rechargeables for my Freedom although my audie told me I could expect around 1 full day. Guest guest
Mike-- You might be talking about me-- I was the one that was posting about the " 12 hour days... My days are long like most human beings here also... Because I work the 2nd shift I usually don't start my days until midday. Therefore my CIs arent powered up until about 11:30. and I usually shut them off at 11:30 pm after a very noisy shift at work. I am still up until 2 or 3 am. doing catch up work on the computer or reading books but that doesn't always need my hearing. So you can see why I said 12 hours on the average. But If I am with friends or family Ill wear my CIs longer than 12 hours sometimes up to 18 hours.. Then I get really tired. Snoopy. Re: :I have to make a decision about implants- Battery life, and My typical day begins at 6:00 AM and ends at 10:00 PM - and most of us I'm sure are in the same window. Out of curiosity - how do you determine a 12 hour day? mine are 17 hours on average.
