Guest guest
Hi I wrote to the email address on the University of Michigan's website and they responded with the following information The device to be implanted is sometimes determined by the surgeon if there is a medical reason that they would recommend a device other than the device from Advanced Bionics. If it is Ok with the surgeon than it would be fine for you to receive an Advanced Bionics device at our clinic. We currently manage patients with devices from all three manufacturers. Terry Zwolan A. Guest guest
My feeling is that, at $36 a pop plus the drop fee, it is likely you are NOT being tested for ETG. My tests were more like $60-$70 dollar range, with ETG. Anyone with more knowledge , please feel free to disagree, but that is my experience, strength and hope. Good luck to you. ~~~~~~~~~~~Keep The Faith~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eva > > > > > > I HAVE BEEN GETTING DRUG TESTED WEEKLY OPTION 1 ALWAYS HERE IN MICHIGAN. WORKING A GOOD PROGRAM. LATELY I HAVE READ A TON ON ETG TESTING. HONESTLY I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IM BEING TESTED FOR.I FEEL LIKE ITS MY RIGHT TO KNOW. IM PAYING FOR IT WEEKLY. NO ONE WILL GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER. I LOOK LIKE AN ALCHOLIC IF I ASK IF IM BEING TESTED FOR ETG. ITS RIDICULOUS. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF MICHIGAN USES ETG? WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TESTING OPTIONS WITH FIRSTLAB? > > > > > This is a very long thread about Firstlab testing options, but without specific reference to Michigan I'm afraid. I have been dinged every week as of the last couple of months. I just get angry that no one will tell me what Im being tested for. If its etg then its etg..i just wanna know. > > > > Smitty > > >
Guest guest
My fees are $58 also. I tried to find out what was being tested but no one would tell me. It's a secret you know! I would be pleased to know that EtS is being tested as from what I've read this would have greater specificity for those of us who aren't drinking. That's correct isn't it? Lab Corp takes our money in Florida. I'm not sure who belongs to post below. - Smitty > > I am tested for option 1 every single time. option 1 is 36 dollars. plus I pay a 10 drop fee. Guest guest
I do know that FIrstlab does use EtS. That is why my monitor had me change, had another false positive EtG in May with Compass so she had me change to Firstlab. Still referred me back to the Attorney General for additional charges for drinking though.
