When I was first hooked up the recommendation was not to wear the HA so that

we could really learn to use the CI. I did really well the CI and didn't care

about the HA. Now, over 5 years later, I like them both together!

A friend of mine absolutely needed to continue using his HA when he was first

implanted because of his job. He did very well also.

Moral of the story...do what YOU need to do to make your life good for you.
