Using HA together with a CI ??

Hi all !

I will be getting activated next week (4/25), and would like to get

some feedback from those who wear (or at least used to wear) a

hearing aid on their unimplanted ear.

I wear a powerful BTE hearing aid on my unimplanted ear, which gives

me enough hearing to use the phone, converse, listen to radio, etc.

My job entails a good deal of phone use, so I would like to be able

to continue using the HA while I get used to the CI.

I was thinking of using the HA & CI together at work, and then the

CI only the rest of the time, to force my brain to adapt to the CI.

I will discuss this with my Audie, but just wanted to know how

others have integreted the CI into use along with a HA.
