Question about implanting with uneven hearing loss

Hello! I am the mother to a 2 year old daughter with a

moderate-severe loss in her left ear and a severe-profound loss in her

right ear. We are currently in the process to find out if she is an

implant candidate. We did find out last month from her CT scan that

she has enlarged vestibular aqueducts with mild cochlear dysplasia.

Anyway, I am kind of obsessed with wondering what it would be like

for her to be implanted with her current hearing status. I wonder how

she would react to the two different types of sound input. Are there

any adults with CIs out there who might have a similar loss as my

daughter's and would be willing to share your experience with me?

Thank you. -Kriste
