Guest guest
Hi (or do you prefer Mike?), Thank you for the welcome aboard. Lol, ok, on the other lists at the beginning I had signed of as Dolphin. Why? Because I LOVES DOLPHINS. In 1996 I had a tattoo of a Mother with her child beside her on my forearm (you are never too old to have one). On one of the Deaf-Blind list, a gentleman asked if he could called me Dolly as it is short for Dolphin, personal, etc. I told my friends about this and they all pounced on me to use Dolly as they loved it. So I combined the two, hence I am now Dolly Dolphin (sometime I forget my real name, lol). I noticed after your name you put down as your CI as Nucleus Freedom. Is this the one that is Water Resistance? I read up some of the brands and this Nucleus Freedom Water Resistance is the one I like to have if I am a candidate. That has been my one thorn about hearing aid, when I sweat and I do mean sweat from the top of the head down to the neck, the ear area the worse. So when that area get soaked: Me: Arrrrruuuugggggghhhhh!! Hearing aid: Oh blimey I am getting soak here Battery: HELP!!! SOS!!!! SOMEONE CALLS 911 PLEASE! I AM DROWNING HERE!!! When it get to that point I take the aid out and put it into my purse and hope I remember to take it out later or hope it doesn't jumps out and run away for it life.
