Hi, All,

Just wanted to welcome all of the new faces I'm seeing here lately.

Know that you are in good hands here in terms of finding information and

encouragement for your journey into hearing. Sometimes you will see some

squabbling,

especially about particulars in CI brands, but that isn't unusual for most

families, right? <smiles sweetly). Seriously, please know that this forum has

been a real lifeline for many of us. Regardless of whether you are just

beginning the process, or into it for years, the information here is invaluable.

Always feel free to ask questions and be sure to avail yourselves of the

website for specific info and interesting reading.

It is so good to see several of you old faces (no pun intended! LOL)

Hal, Velma (Patti), Irv, and many others that haven't been posting for awhile.

I, too, have been reading all of the posts, but sometimes " lay low " or am

just plain lazy! ARGGG LOL Anyway, it's good to see you are all out there

enjoying life!

Alice, we all applaud you for " sticking to it " , despite everything. I

don't have to tell you how instrumental you and others here have been in

getting me to where I am ( a good place!) in my hearing today. I never would

have

had the know-how, or the guts to advocate for myself if not for you and this

forum that you provide. I know it's been particularly difficult lately. I

thank you for raising above it all, as you always do, to continue to provide

this

amazing place for all to share. Fortunatly, most of us recognize that it

takes all kinds to make a world, and there will always be those who " rain on the

parade " . The fact that people can come here and share, both good and bad, is

the reason so many of us have been helped. Please don't ever stop and please

know how very much you are appreciated. No thanks necessary!
