Guest guest
I agree with you as far as trying to move and clean my stuff myself; the masks I've tried haven't worked well enough according to my standards. I thought about trying to rent a hazmat suit, but would prefer someone else doing the work, and loading up the u-haul truck, and never entering my house again. I'm pretty fed up with it all at this point. I'm selling the house " as is " . Just want to put my stuff in storage for the 2-5 years and get on with my life. Sorry about the ozone question... New to the board. ) Actually attended a class at an adult school given by an attorney who had first hand experience with her home being contaminated by mold and the 6 month remediation process that followed (covered by her insurance due to a sudden leak), and the ozone worked for her clothes. Do you think it's a difference in molds, spores. toxins? A simple answer will suffice. BTW: Really appreciate the support on this message board!!!! Will definately contribute in some way to this situation once I get my life stable again. Have already sent emails to my state legislators, FEMA, as well as many others. I think this is a National Disaster due to people losing their health, their homes, and their belongings, with no support from their insurance companies or otherwise. Think the government needs to step in and provide some type of interim support until they can determine standards for testing, acceptable levels, remediation, insurance, etc. Just my thoughts...
