Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just need to vent. I was supposed to start IVIG infusions several weeks ago for my mold exposure which has caused demylinating polyneuropathy but thanks to my insurance it is not medially necessary. I am on my sixth appeal with them. They cannot tell me what doctor they think I should go to or what treatment they think would help becasue then they would be " practicing medicine " . Aren't they practing medicine by telling me the treatments are not medically necessary??? So I feel as if I am back to square one. I went to a local doctor who is suppose to be very good and knowledgeable. As I told him what my life has been like for the last 8 months he sat there and looked at me as if I had lost my mind. I really do believe he thought I was crazy. His advice to me was to get over it and " get out there and live life. " I sat there and smiled and said thank you for your time while I was screaming inside.
