Thank you for providing that, K. I hope the Weikert's friends do help them out - they have tried so hard to get well and it has been sheer hell for a month now, and prohibitively expensive, and with the husband taking most of that month off from work. If anyone knows how they might detox without the help of doctors (as they haven't found any to help in their area and can't travel readily - too toxic to travel, too expensive, nowhere to stay they can tolerate, etc.)...any tips that worked for really severe cases? Or, a cooperative doctor in So. IN would be helpful, who has environmental background or one willing to work with one who has that. And continuing prayers.

This is for chemical and mold exposure - beware of rug cleaning chemicals that are used without ventilation. I have found a lot of info on terrible chemical exposures based on this, especially for children. We have no idea how surrounded we are by damaging chemicals till our bodies have been over-exposed to mold and can no longer tolerate these things. There is nowhere to go if you are on toxic overload - our society is so chemically based.

I have a milder form of this but it surely does act up when exposed to certain things, like perfumes. That is why I am so adament about avoidance of repeated exposures, because with each one, you are so much worse off and don't spring back. That is why I am afraid to work in public schools again - they don't take care of the buildings and leaks, filth, etc., lead to mold, often. Even with our best efforts, we can still be re-exposed. That is so worrisome, and when I see what has happened with the Wiekerts, I think, there but for the grace of God, go I. So let's support them getting well, in all ways that you can.
