I'm a New York Times crossword addict and my husband can tell you how I cough, sneeze, choke and blow my nose nonstop every morning in front of the newpaper. This has been going on since before we moved into our mold infested apartment but since being here, I am very much worse.

Hi Betsy,

Might I suggest a trick I have used for my wife....who cannot be near a newspaper.

I cut out the crossword puzzle and answers....let them air out well. I also have used

laminating coverings which seal them in. Then since they are both covered and

reduced in size it is not a problem for her. The newspaper is best left outside....

I note some days the ink is different...I am tuned in more..and do note differences.

I wonder if the inks are fermenting in the machine etc....or container. I know that

soy inks are not a problem. Some times the inks appear wet and material rubs off

on the hands a lot. Those are the worst ones I see.

I note this in many magazines also.....And really hate those perfumed ones!!!

When your mail box stinks.....!!! Return to sender !!!
