Guest guest
, I've seen this happen to other people before. I've forgotten the exact term for it in " internetese " but yes, your address was hijacked. I don't know how it's done (hey, I'm a nice lady) but know that it _is_ done. You'd think these geniouses would have better things to do with their time. Guest guest
: You should change your passwords to all of your computer programs and any website you are in that require passwords, like and google, aol etc. Hacker's can electronically lift a person's address (without totally hacking into their computer) but your computer could be vunerable, so change your passwords. Guest guest
Someone either hacked your computer or you have a virus. Your computer came with a disk which will do a system restore. It would be a good idea to save anything you need on your computer and then do this. When you are done it would be a good idea to put a firewall on your computer and change your passwords. (If you read the ads in the Sunday paper you can usually get one free after rebate.)

Guest guest
Rainbow, it is not at all clear to whom you are suggesting this since the email you sent went to the entire list. Are you saying has a virus on his computer? Probably a lot of us have firewalls and daily virus scanning and updates. Just wondering to whom you are speaking. It seems to me that 's email could have been picked off of any computer on the entire list which is not adequately protected. Guest guest
It is not likely a virus. This happened to a friend of mine and it's called " spoofing " . It is very possible that our friendly neighborhood hacker is having a laugh. It _would_ be a good idea in any event to install a firewall and change passwords now and then. Best wishes to all.........Betsy ----- Original Message ----- From: " rainbowcarebearstitch10 " <rainbowcarebearstitch10@...> < > Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2004 2:33 PM Subject: [] Re: mew-mew (-: VIRUS? > Someone either hacked your computer or you have a virus. Guest guest
Sorry for not being more specific.. Since the topic was 's computer that was what I was referring to. ( I am not a computer expert and have not seen his computer.) Judging by what happened someone hacked his account and possibly his computer. I was just trying to help. Have a good day!
