Guest guest
Well folks, looks like things will be winding down for me in a few weeks. As an employee of the State of South Carolina, I have filed Workman's Comp, Long Term Disability, and disability retirement from the SC Retirement Systems. I have managed to keep a regular check on the progress of each claim. In doing so, I have enlisted Governor Mark Sanford and my local State Representatives. I am getting feedback from each of these and hopefully my case will be resolved soon. My Workman's Comp attorneys have requested that I not go public with the media at this time, so I am awaiting my claim decisions before doing that. I have also filed a complaint with OSHA and may file an EEOC complaint as well. It is my opinion, and I have the documents to confirm it, that my employer may have discriminated against me because of my disability. I sought relief under the Americans With Disabilities Act last year, but feel no accomodations were made for me. This would be a Federal issue and I am awaiting the outcome of the other claims. My advise to all is to seek every avenue possible in your particular situation. Contact as many officials as you can. Supply them with any copies of medical and other documents that you might have. Just don't give up. From most reports, employers will try to outlast the victim. Keep at it. Don't let a negative response shut you down. I know it is discouraging at times, but let them know that you are not going away. I will keep everyone posted regarding my situation. Guest guest
Hi. Sorry, what is your name please? Being Diabetic and the fact that up to now your body has been running on carbs for its fuel source means that you are now forcing it to change over to fat burning. Not only that, but you are also depriving the gut bugs of their food source. Both of those issues will have an effect on your body. I also find that the Candida etc., can trigger gas which will bloat my stomach and make me feel hungry, especially early on in the diet during transitioning. Releasing the gas makes the hunger pangs go away. As a T2 myself, I am convinced that Candida in the gut can definitely affect the blood sugar levels - but bear in mind that your body is now clearing out the sugar backlog. This stuff gets everywhere in the body - peripheral nerve damage can often be due to sugar crystals accumulating where they shouldn't, and perhaps up to now, your body and the bugs have been using the residue. It can take a while for the body to change over to running on fats when it has been in carb-burning mode for a long time. Low carb will usually trigger weight loss. This is the best thing you can do, not only for your health in general, but for the Diabetes too. I have gone from taking 40 units of insulin and 3 Metformin per day - and still being way too high, to just 10 units and 1 Metformin every two or three days, and being in or around normal blood sugar. I also threw my blood pressure tablets away a few weeks after going low-carb. The less medication in any form I need to take, the better. When my body is healed, I really hope not to have to use the insulin or Metformin at all. A naturally-based, naturally low-carb diet is how Humans were designed to eat and those cultures and communities who still eat that way do not get the Western Diseases like Diabetes that follow hard on heels of the highly processed Western Diet wherever it goes. This is why, although Bee's diet works for Candida as well, she has changed it's name to Bee's Healing Diet. It works. Ali. > > I have been on the candida diet for 2 weeks now, and was doing fine - the food has been satisfying and I didn't miss the carbs at all. However I didn't lose weight, nor did my high blood sugar go down (I am type 2 diabetic). > > Yesterday, I suddenly started craving carbs. No matter how much I ate, I was still very hungry - so hungry that I could barely sleep. I am seriously committed to this, and so did not break the diet. Then, this morning, my blood sugar had dropped a whopping 30 points, and I had lost 5 lbs! I am assuming that this is good news and that it has something to do with the sudden craving for carbs. > > Additionally, the uterine bleeding has almost stopped, but the clogged veins in my legs are still painful and swollen. Am expecting improvement there eventually. As per Bee's advice, I did not purchase support stockings, but that means that I don't get much done since the pain forces me to stay off my feet and rest a lot. Small price, and probably a good thing. > > Anyway, I am so glad to see my blood sugar finally dropping - and even that I have lost a little weight. I need to lose about 120 lbs, and so a 5 lb drop isn't significant. Still it is encouraging. >

In future your blood sugar may fluctuate up and down, which is because your body retraces every symptom, disease, organ malfunction, injury, etc. when it is healing itself - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php All the best, Bee

Guest guest
Hey Ali, My name is - I keep forgetting to post my name at the end of messages! Thanks for the encouraging words. I have several scary health conditions and have chosen to address these issues naturally. I don't get much encouragement from my doctor, and I appreciate knowing that this has worked for someone else. Hearing from people like you, who have had success in battling serious disease really doubles my resolve to stick to my guns. Anyway, yoiu have given me a boost to get through another day! > > Hi.
