Guest guest
I cannot be around compost or mulch. I can smell it a mile away. I cant even put my lawn chair on the ground to lay in the sun

Guest guest
, If I go shopping in a nursery I feel awful. I find it interesting that you have a 36 hr timeframe for your bad reaction. I have never considered this. The mold issues are new to me as I had Lyme disease first. a Group --I had to address some business away from where I am currently holing up. I looked up a friend who lives in the area, and asked if I could camp in his back yard.I pulled up at about 9:00 pm, opened the car and began setting up my tent. I noticed an earthy smell, and asked my friend what it was. He replied that he had just had 9 TONS of mulch delivered, which when I turned on my headlamp, I discovered was piled all around the driveway.I split immediately, but here I am, 36 hours later, being reactive. Right on schedule. The car is probably contaminated too. Has anyone else had experience around compost or general agricultural development being a problem? I know there is evidence for Aspergillis living in beaches, etc.

My hands and feet are pretty sore, and my GI this am was, shall we say, oatmeal-ish? Perhaps too much information! Yes, I think I've got this narrowed down to a 36 hour reactivity, and about the same for detox (not full Herxhiemer detox, just immediate symptom detox). I know I said 72 hours in a previous post, but this would be for full function. 36 hours out of a compromised environment and into my tent, and I see my first indication of recovery in a lessening of myalgias in the hands and feet in the morning. I interpret the 36 hours after exposure as the time needed for the atopic reactivity to extract the toxins from the inhaled spores/hyphae, and to make it to my bloodstream. Like , I never even smell the stuff anymore, and it's rare that I get a histamine reaction, just the Spacies. This is not like a normal allergic reaction/histamine production, which with something like cats is about a 5 minute diagnosis for me. Sorry, Lori.... Sounds like I now I have to clean everything and the car too. Dammit! Thanks for the input, though, guys.
