Guest guest
Hi Marcie, Would you please explain how to do muscle testing? Can you do it on yourself? Also, I agree about the alchoholism. I am dating an ex-alcoholic, and he really loves sweets. He can eat things that are far too sweet for me to eat. He has many of the same symptoms as I do. (Marcie) I did muscle testing on him to see what foods he needs to avoid- came up with wheat, dairy, and mold-containing foods like peanuts or fermented foods, except yogurt. I truly believe candida is a driving force of alcoholism. I also believe different foods are factors for different people- I think it has more with allergic response to a certain food. When I do muscle testing on people I almost ALWAYS get wheat (and most gluten foods) and cow's dairy as the feeding of the candida, but often the person is able to have other carbs and bits of sugar. Honey almost always comes up as a positive food for people- maybe because it helps the adrenals? I find this subject so interesting, but I don't feel there is a one-size fits all diet. While both TLP and AIT work in similar ways, AIT seems mostly effective at regulating how tones are heard and remediating sound sensativities/inability to hear certain sounds, while TLP seems to address overall auditory processing better. AIT, done twice a day for ten days, consists of whacked out/altered music played fairly loudly, while TLP, done 1-2 times a day for 8-16 weeks, is a mixture of classical music and nature sounds played at a regular volume so is much more enjoyable to listen to. Also, TLP is a home program and much cheaper than AIT. Gaylen
Guest guest
I have a question. How different is the Listening Program from Advanced Brain different from AIT. We have done AIT, but are considering the Listening Program. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Regarding Prednisone. I had to use it last year. I do better with shots of decadron. Lots less side effects. prednisone made me a candidate for the funny farm. i would cry one minute and be mad the next for no reason. Decadron (spelling?) was much better. I have read where it can be injected directly into a tumor, you can find more info at this site http://essiac-info.org/ Hope this helps, " To come to be what you are not, you must go by a way in which you are not. Guest guest
Just to sound pedantic, Caesar is Latin and classical Latin actually only had hard c's so his name should be pronounced Ki-sar (German kaisar comes from this). Church Latin changed the hard c's into the soft ones. At least that's what I was taught. Hal
Guest guest
Lee, There are always exceptions, especially when the letter that doesn't follow the rule is followed by an e. Also, Caesar is Greek, not English. Celery is a French word. Cereal is from the Latin word cerealis and is spelled the same in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Words that are not of English origin obviously won't follow English rules. Names often don't follow phonetic rules for this reason and also because people get creative with the spelling of names.
