Guest guest
Cindi A study on pub-med stated that NAC only chelates methyl-mercury not the inorganic mercury found in our fillings. If so it should not pull the elemental mercury out of your teeth and would not decrease any extra mercury released with amalgam removal. Charcoal may do this however I'm not sure. Here in NZ I purchased some activated charcoal from the supermarket as they sell supplements here. So far have been too chicken to try the charcoal myself. Someone on he metals list said that fine charcoal powder was better than activated charcoal capsules as it coats the whole intestine where most of the mercury from amalgams remains. They benefited from taking it ..Cant get it here though. MSM on the other hand may pull elemental mercury out of your fillings. I have read that MSM might redistribute Mercury to the liver so be careful with it. If chelation makes you sart to feel very bad stop have a break and resume later with a new low dose protocol. Clearing remaining mercury an take a year or two sometimes and for some is best done very slowly. Cheryl Hi I just removed my first 3 fillings. In addition to dams, air flow, oxygen etc. the dentist gave me Vitamin C and NAC before the procedure. I'm trying to figure out what else I should do. I have been taking undenatured whey protein for some time, and have been doubling the dose lately. I will take NAC, the question is how much. He says 1g a day, but I don't think I should do that much until all the fillings are out. Seems like 200-300mg is safer based on what I've read here. I am worried about pulling mercury out of the remaining 5 fillings, since that has happened to me before. I'll also get some cilantro and load up on that. Once they are out it seems like I can go higher on the NAC and MSM. I've just found out about charcoal. Anybody know where you can get that? Maybe I should have had it today, if I can get it locally... Or maybe I should do it when I do the next 5 in 2 weeks. No DMSA or that stuff for a while. I'll think about it later. Any other suggestions? No need to refer me to cfsn.com, I'm reading that as much as I can, but there is no search function and it's hard to find specific info. Thanks cindi
Guest guest
Angel, You might want to go to Dr. Royal Fuller in Las Vegas - that may be fuller royal - I can never remember. He does some testing to see if your amalgams are causing a problem or not. Maybe ask Carol Barlow about him. Also, I go to a really good dentist here, Heltzel, who does a good job removing mercury fillings with care. He's expensive but worth it. 733-7244. One thing I have heard - do not have all of them removed close together - get about 2 or 3 a year done and spaced out over time, because even with a dam and mask, you will still get some mercury vapor as the filling is removed. a Hi, I am wondering if anyone has had their amalgam fillings removed and if it helped them detox.I am considering going to Dr. Morales in Mexico as he is trained in the Huggins method of removal. I am very sick from toxic mold exposure with MCS,CFS, Fibromyalgia, Vasculitis, Gout and severe lung and cognitive difficulties.I am hoping that getting rid of the mercury will aid in my healing.I want to thank all of you for your advice and opinions on my MCS.I have decided to go all natural for 6 months and if I see no improvement I may choose the drug therapy.I just feel desparate at times to get better.
