Hi, I'm new here. We found mold (Stachybotrys and others) in our

home Feb of this year and my husband tried to vacuum it up, and he

spread it through the air. I got a really bad cough afterwards. The

cough has mostly cleared up, but I get short of breath really easy,

sometimes w/o any exertion at all. I had a spirometry pulmonary

function test done and it showed that I only have 50% lung capacity

and said I have low vital capacity, possibly from a concomitant

restrictive defect. I have asthma and two pulmonologists said it is

just asthma and one pulmonologist said the spiromotry suggests I

have another problem as well. I am having a CT Scan done tomorrow,

so hopefully I can find out something from that. I was wondering if

anyone else has been through this or something similar. If so, could

you please write and tell me your experience with this.
