Guest guest
Its Sherry in Syracuse, but she will only phone consult at this point.. Ritchie Shoemaker gets high marks from some and accusations of being a quack on some sites. He seems to have the most extensive site regarding numbness, disorientation, and supporting thoughts that my school and not just my library (now closed) is affected. Dr. Shoemakers secretary today said that he is so busy, they send out a package, you fill that out with your doctor and mail it back. He then books you a time. -----Original Message----- From: nomoreschoolmold@... There is Dr. Kaye Kilburn in Pasadena (diagnostic, not treatment) - and not very expensive by comparison - $1500 and $850 was covered by insurance). Also, Dr. , outside of Houston, TX http://johnsonmedicalassociates.com/a_johnson.htm. I think we should collect a list and post it for current and future inquiries. How about that? B. Guest guest
> Ritchie Shoemaker gets high marks from some and accusations of being a quack > on some sites. > can anyone address this? Well, in the last six years I have told my story to hundreds of doctors, researchers, support groups, MCS and CFS specialists including some of the most prominent doctors in the world, up to and including Professor Wessely. As I've said many times, it would seem that my sudden departure from Dr s ampligen program and subsequent appearance on top of various mountains should have been sufficiently peculiar to induce an " interest response " from any physician who was looking for a means to help people with CFS. However they failed to see anything of significance in this. Either that, or they have no wish to find anything that might help. I would be, and am, particularly disappointed in phsyicians who would deliberately turn away from possibly finding something that would help people like me who wind up in CFS ampligen programs. I call this inability to discern relevant clues " Failing the Intelligence Test " . Dr Shoemaker contacted me instantly when he heard my story. As far as I can tell, he is the only physician I know that gives more than lip service to practicing the attributes of Sir Osler, who is famous for saying, " listen to the patient. He will tell you his diagnosis. " Dr Shoemaker is the only physician to pass the intelligence test. - (I told Dr Shoemaker this story and said that I didn't mean to sound like an arrogant b'std and he replied " Ain't braggin if you can do it. " )
