With the concern the IOM report expressed about chemical releases

from damp building materials and furnishings, I wonder if the news

article on flame retardants at the link below has relevancy. Can the

moisture and/or the " digestion " of materials by the mold and bacteria

release the flame retardants? Pure conjecture on my part but it does

make me wonder.
