These people lie. I became ill in a government facility after

working eight years in a moldy wet basement with mold four feet up the walls.

Workmens Comp people told me I was making it up, that maybe the mold showed up

there

last spring and that no one gets sick from mold. Mean while I now live with

asthma, am pretty much homebound with my aircleaners.

NO ONE gets it.

To whom it may concern:

I have been battling with ill effects from severe Toxic Mold

for over a year now. It was at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth New

Hampshire. I will post picture below. I have lost my whole life. I live in an

apartment with air cleaners, wear a 3M mask in old buildings, cannot go outside

if it is humid or damp out as I now have asthma I have never had before and

can smell the mold from the ground. I go through hives, severe muscle pain.

Sometimes so bad I cannot walk and I have been away from this environment for a

year now.

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard put me out on leave as long as I

promised to file for disability. I am fighting an EEO case that I wasn't

allowed telework. There is, by NAVSEA Instruction 12620.1A a law that there is

supposed to be a telework policy. But I was told " No one will work at home on MY

watch. "

There is also no policy for accommodations at the Shipyard.

They sent me to a clinic doctor. Dr. Larabee, that told me I

was crazy and be a good little girl and take my pills and leave the Shipyard.

They moved me three places. I left one in an ambulance. There

were moldy bathrooms, the air conditioner didn't work right and there were

continuous leaks like a waterfall from the ceiling.

There was also no help in my workmen's comp claim and Bob

Short in Human Resources sent lies to the Workmen's Comp people. I would get the

letters and chop them up and send them myself. THESE people were supposed to

help me.

There was insubordination by my supervisor. She said if I

didn't see doctors she thought I should see, that she would wash her hands of me

and not help me. She as well refused to send me work when they moved me away

from the office.

When publicity came out they covered up the basement and got

rid of me. You now need respirator quals to go down in this dungeon.

I have lost my life, my job, my health and my mate and faith

due to this moldy basement. I asked for help from senators and governors and

none forthcoming.I have documentation for everything I have saId here.

               Thank you for your time.

No one gets it, until you get it.

I'm now entering my fifth year of symptoms -- and your story is

powerful.

Sorry for our troubles, but I'm glad you're here with me.
