Guest guest
Take the MAPER Challenge! See how many family and friends you can get to sign the petition on behalf of your family! Following is an example of the letter I sent out: Dear Friends and Family, As many of you know, our family experienced the effects of mold in our rented condo during the summer of 2002. was hospitalized for one week when she stopped breathing at only 17 days old, as a result of the conditions within our home. Only after a freak accident with our bathroom ceiling did we discover the hidden molds. Experts were consulted and we were advised to leave our home and all our possessions. We had lost everything in a matter of minutes. For the last two years after this tragedy, I have dedicated my time, money, energy and efforts to help educate people from all walks of life deal with the effects of indoor molds. I have spent countless hours talking with others in our situation. I have traveled around the country educating public health officials, politicians, and industry professionals on preventing this from happening to others. Today, I write you to ask that you help me. I would ask every one of you to please take a moment of your time to sign a petition urging Congress to address this preventable tragedy from happening to others. I would ask that after you have signed the petition that you forward it to all of your friends and family and ask them to sign this petition on behalf of our family and the thousands of other families that have had to live this nightmare. http://www.mold-help.org/petition/ Please take a moment to sign the petition on behalf of our family. Thank you, The Larkin Family , Lance, Zack, Ana, , It's only been up for a few hours and the response is phenomenal! Let's keep the momentum going!
