There was a woman jogging in the Presidio a few weeks ago and she was hit by

a car because she was listening to her iPod. She did not get immediate

medical help so she died as a result. They were able to identify her because

of

the information on her iPod.

Several joggers actually have died as a result of listening to their

Walkmans or iPod because they were not aware of their environment.

For the same reason, people who drive their automobiles or SUVs or

commerical vehicles while talking on their cell phones are also a danger because

they

could either injure themselves or someone else.
