Guest guest
, Am familiar with Weiss. She is very short in physical and personal stature. I have seen her speak and did not find her manner of presentation to be widely accepted as powerful in a room filled with as many defense attorneys as it was with plaintiff attormeys. In other words, she undercuts her own credibility by her demeanor and lack of conviction in her statements. I am not aware of her doing any real damage to anyone by her " expert testimony " . Maybe others might know. As you can probably tell, I do not care for this woman. In a conference in New Orleans, I witnessed her and a colleague from Texas, laugh hysterically as Dr. Les-whatever his name is,(neuropsychologist) made inappropriate jokes, in a formal presentation setting, of the ill health experienced by mold victims. In the room were three other mold survivors, two of which have (had) cancer. Dr. Weiss and her associates' attitudes were blatantly disrespectful and in poor taste. Even the defense attorneys in the room appeared to be put off by the trios' antics. I overheard one attorney refer to them as " the three stooges " directly following the faux pas ridden presentation period. I do not believe any of them gained any new clients on that day. And probably even lost a few. From what I have witnessed, I believe Dr. Weiss is viewed by and large as a nonentity in the " mold game " . As far as Dr. Marinkovich, although he is often times designated as an expert witness, I am of the understanding he has not had to actually testify in court. His cases settle. I THINK THAT IS CORRECT, BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO VERIFY. He does get a bit technical in his answers to defense attorneys, but never says anything wrong.
