Guest guest Posted October 19, 2004 Report Share Posted October 19, 2004 Sorry if this is duplicate reply, but usually I believe they find that MCS people's immune systems are hyperactive, or higher functioning, possibly too high, and there are theories of it triggering auto-immune stuff, such that the person with MCS's body actually attacks itself. This would explain my mysterious infections that don't culture, but that nearly kill me. Sensitization itself is a different angle/discussion. Sensitization is permanent and is from toxic exposure.
