Guest guest
Carl, Let's discuss the inconsistencies you find that should be of concern... What I see are many approaches to solve the indoor air pollution problem and all different to some degree... What did you think of the site by the International Ozone Association?? Did you read their newsletter?? Also did you see the comment about how many physicians in Germany use ozone therapy for many different conditions... Hmmm... injecting ozone in the blood system to solve heart problems and as a vaginal douche for treatment of cervical cancer... But then it has always been said that European medicine is far ahead of American medicine which I'm sure you'll agree is drug driven by the pharmaceutical industry... Unfortunately it seems solving the indoor pollution problem is somewhat like solving a headache... Now there are over 100 different formulations of aspirin which of course can kill you if overdosed.. but there are " numerous cautions " about taking aspirin for it can kill you if overdosed... [for myself] I'm forbidden to take aspirin for medical reason but maybe for yourself aspirin is the medicine of choice... By the way what do you believe to be the cause of the color blue in the sky??? [Hint: It is not dust!] For answer to why it is ozone see far below //// Let's remember ozone has for years been the medium for purification of choice both in the household medicine closet and the doctor's office... Every first aid kit that I've ever used has a bottle of ozone dissolved in sterile water for cleansing cuts etc... It is called hydrogen peroxide and that is simply ozone dissolved in water.. Aerosols of terpenes from the vegetation react with OZONE in the atmosphere to form small particles about 200 nm across, and these particles scatter the blue light. A forest fire or volcanic eruption may occasionally fill the atmosphere with fine particles of 500-800 nm across, being the right size to scatter red light. This gives the opposite to the usual Tyndall effect, and may cause the moon to have a blue tinge since the red light has been scattered out. Guest guest
Each to his own on OZONE I guess. I know it drys out my lungs even from a small machine in a doctors office. I had the same problem when I tried an ionizer at home. I dont know if that means anything.I think OZONE is good to blast a house with as long as NO living things are in there and you stay away for a certain amount of time. I forget what it is.    So all this technical info and stuff...I know how my body reacts. Like its sucking out my lungs. Just my opinion. Guest guest
Thank you Janet, I'm sure we're more in agreement than not.. Do allow me to make one more point as direct and personal as it might be... Your condition as sensitive and intolerant as it may be toward ozone surely appears to be quire unique and severe and your doctor may not have done you a kindness by simply removing his machine from his office.... Apparently you have a special need like none of your doctor's other patients and it sounds by what you said your doctor may not be recognizing the seriousness of your condition... All I can say is I'm told by many folk their breathing is so much better now that they have a trace of enriched oxygen.. My wife who has a breathing problem has some relief with our small machine... My dear friend Charlotte at home struggling with stage four cancer has a day nurse who told me be a remarkable story about her son's asthma... The child had been to many many doctors for treatment of his asthma... None seemed to help.. then the mother heard of an ionizer which produces a bit of ozone and the generator is installed in the air duct before the fan and wired into the fan circuit... The child's condition was immediately relieved... The mother then through a fit with their family doctor calling him a charlatan and demanded some of his fees be returned... The doctor instead wrote a prescription for the device and after a fuss with their insurance company the installation was covered... I asked how much did the thing cost and was told $1,800... True story!! The installation was made six years ago... The child I'm told is making a recovery and the home still has the equipment..... Today I'm believing the installation can be made for less than $600.. ken ============================================================= ----- Original Message ----- From: Gingersnap1964@...<mailto:Gingersnap1964@...> <mailto: > Sent: Sunday, October 10, 2004 10:52 AM Subject: Re: []^ Ozone educational web sites Each to his own on OZONE I guess.
