Guest guest
I have been doing sampling of homes and offices since 1972 ........and testifying in mold exposures cases all over the US since 1976. ( I testify about 90 times a year ). After doing toxicological evaluations in homes and offices, and correlating them to mold levels, for the last 28 years, I have determined that the safe levels for most people, not immunocompromised individuals, is: < 1,000 cfu's/cubic meter of air for pathogenic molds known to produce mycotoxins. < 2,000 cfu's/M3 for total mold spores in the air. < 300,000 cfu's/gram of dust for bulk and swabs. I have testified to the above for many years in courtrooms all over the US. When approached by Congressman Conyers aide responsible for writing the national mold bill one day, years ago, when I was doing a TV interview in Detroit on a mold case ( Cherie Brunner--she got $500,000 after adjudication ). I would like to hear what your think. I value your opinion. So far, my opinions as to the above has stood up in every courtroom even with my testifying in Daubert and Frye hearings. The mold guidelines stated above have been upheld in all depositions and trials in every mold case. Dr. L. Lipsey Toxicologist and Instructor University of North Florida, ---OSHA HazMat Cert. U. of Florida Med. Ctr, Jax Poison Control Center Board CV--Toxicology And Environmental Health Assoc. ( RESUME ).
Guest guest
This is great if one can afford to hire a lawyer. 5 years later, and I still can't get even a WC lawyer because my doctors' firm abandoned me since my workplace was United Health Care - their bread and butter! I'm not through with them. One of these days, I'll have my hearing with all of the new info I've gathered on this new NY Love Canal.
