Hi Kurt,

I happen to be someone 'who has let my voice be heard' not just for myself

but for others.

Sometimes one person's voice 'gets the band rolling' but its helpful if more

than one is concerned about something to voice their opinion.

Someone on here not yourself mentioned about how some should get over it?

Whether it bothers them or not the words used in a derogatory way not by

people who don't know or if there is a media event that is degrading to

someone with dwarfism people have the right to be concerned and aware and to

let the media know if they choose to it bothers them.

I have friends average, short statured and other disabilities. They are of

different races, religions, nationalities. I don't question there concern

when something negative appears in the public eye because unfortunately some

not all see that image and get the wrong image of not just one but all.

OH MY GOSH! That is awful! I have never heard of this ....

I have been to a million doctors. NOT one of them said I would out of

proportion. What kind of crap is this?! " Freak " rates higher than " cripple " .

Please folks, maybe I used a poor choice of words to

describe MY DEFORMITY, but when I buy clothes I am

very much reminded of what my proportions are. The

other side of the coin is that I can reach stuff that

most of y'all can't!LOL

Please accept my apology for my description of nobody

but me.

Another item of note: I don't think that having the

breastbone deformity I have mentioned means that you

have CMT but I think a lot of CMTers have it, also a

high palate is part of that symptomology. I don't have

it but my great uncle did.

I actually find this difficult to read. Perhaps I have too much " focus on

details " ?

Actually, I find that using a spell checker can provide many good laughs. Just

look at the list of suggestions for each misspelled word.

I was wondering if anyone found it hard to read. This is actually easier for me

to read trying to decipher many typos. It's interesting how all see it

differently.

****** I had no problem reading it at all..in fact there was

little hesitation on my part but I had my husband try it and he did

have difficulty and mispronounced several of the words. I wanted Lane

to try it since she is young and in the reading/learning stages but I

could not drag her away from what she was watching on TV ( I think it

was the top 100 most interesting celebrity women..I find it odd that

she likes to watch this stuff )..anyway, thought I would put my two-

cents worth in and I am going to try and get her to look at it

tonight.

OH MY GOSH! You've just proved my vp's point of view that my son can

NOT have an iEP based on poor writing and spelling abilities. Nope he

says w/ technology these things are NO longer that important. Now if

we can just get him to write this in black and white or on tape!!!!!!

By the way I had a HELL of a time reading it. Then after I got the

gist of it all of a sudden I could read it w/ little difficulty. My

oldest went hey wait a minute...it's all wrong, but then had zero

problems reading it. Wierd.

Don't wait for him to put that in writing, write it in your follow up

letter. Maybe he can't write. lol.

I'm trying to make up a list of common words to describe the

sensations arising from different air flow effects, both adequate and

inadequate. For starters, there are words/adjectives like:

stuffy, close, humid, cold, warm, stale, fresh, clammy,

and so on

Feel free to contribute - the more the better.

Thanks

And another thing!

I was at my 40thhigh school reunion this weekend. A former classmate

was talking about a mother who wanted her mongoloid son to go to church. I

said are you talking about a child with Down Syndrome. She said well that

is the term we used in my day. We both came from the same day...some

of us have not come a long way at all.

Again, still a lot of work to do.
