Guest guest
Hi Liliane, I'm so sorry for your misfortune. So many of us have been there. My heart goes out to you. Have you been to the www.hadd.com website yet? Perhaps they can give you some advice and/or assistance. Just try not to look back on all of this. Try to forge ahead with renewed vigor from being released from a sick house. Barth TOXIC MOLD SURVEY: www.presenting.net/sbs/sbssurvey.html --- LHM> Hello, LHM> I am new to this forum; thank you all so very much for sharing so much LHM> information here. LHM> Mold in my home has ruined me financially and I desperately need help before LHM> I am evicted from my own home. Does anyone know of caselaw regarding LHM> synthetic stucco homes being " unsellable " leading to foreclosure and loss of LHM> one's equity? If so, please let me know, as this is what has happened to me. LHM> When my ex husband left my kids and me I was given our new stucco home as my LHM> part of the " marital estate " . It was to be my " nest egg " which I could LHM> liquidate if need be. In 2001 I won a $100,000 lawsuit against the builder LHM> for moisture and mold problems. His insurance company, Zurich, disputed the LHM> decision and we appealed. Have not received a decision yet. LHM> When I got into severe financial problems this year I tried to sell my house LHM> to realize my equity. No one will even look at it because its synthetic LHM> stucco. Real estate agents will stop in front of my house, call me on their LHM> cell to say their client is interested, but " is it synthetic stucco? " When LHM> I tell them " yes " , they back off fast. LHM> As a result of my financial problems and not being able to realize my equity LHM> by selling my home, it went into foreclosure. I know the person who bought LHM> it is not going to disclose to his buyer about all of the problems. Received LHM> an eviction notice in the mail on Saturday, which I'm going to fight LHM> legally.
