Guest guest
My son (4, autistic spectrum, sensory, OCD, delayed speech) and myself (Crohn's) have done NAET. We first did it over a year ago with some success for me but minimal success for my son. He had an undeniable reaction to many of the substances that he was being treated for (red face, quiet, or deeply lethargic during or shortly after treatment) but the results didn't seem lasting (his stools continued to be loose/liquid). Then in January the acupuncturist who had done the NAET called to say that she got the Bioenergetic computer (from Germany) so I took Isaac back. He began treatment in March with miraculous results. Every time we eliminated another substance, his stools got better. She still does the NAET but combines it with the same substance in a homeopathic solution. No 25 hour waiting period. We've done forty or so substances. Chocolate was the most difficult. Wheat, gluten, corn, sugar, and pollen were among the most beneficial along with vitamin A and the B's. Most required that I follow-up with the drops for two weeks or more. The computer can then verify if he's still allergic to the substance. His stools are near perfect and for that I don't regret the money (averages 200 per treatments - 85 for the visit, 55 to use the computer and twenty for each homeopathic substance). He is still a picky eater but seems to slowly be trying new things. - mom to Isaac

Guest guest
The acupunturist that we use is Dr. Helena Stefan in Rockville land. I've also heard of a Dr. Pinto in Northern Virginia who does the same homeopathic/NAET combination. - mom to Isaac In a message dated 12/15/2000 7:43:34 AM Eastern Standard Time, egroups writes: << Message: 5 Date: Thu, 14 Dec 2000 15:41:18 -0800 From: Dan Carney <DVMCarney@...> Subject: Re: Re: NAET , Where is your NAET practitioner located? Guest guest
Terri, Sent this before I finsished writing... I've had NAET done by practioners in CA and in WA and success with both. We've treated for dairy, mercury, tin, silver, copper, aluminum, cadmium, nickel, magnesium, fluoride, chromium, chlorine, MMR, etc. In both cases the practitioners ask me what I want to test for and seem amazed when they check the items and they do indeed show a need for treatment. One can also treat for organ and gland function and assorted things which one wouldn't consider when thinking of allergies. We also treated me for hair, skin, estrogen, progesterone, 2 of the 5 for brain. The practitioner I currently go to mentioned having attended a conference about NAET and autism before she knew I work in the field. From my understanding, most practitioners treat food allergies first because that seems to make the other later treatments " hold " better. www.NAET.com provides basic info and a list of practitioners. S My current insurance, Healthcomp, pays 60-80% for the treaments after a $100 annual deductible. -------------------------------------------------------------- I've just found someone local who does NAET, to " clear " allergies. Does anyone have experience with this, good or bad? Please share! Terri *** [This message has been truncated.]
Guest guest
Terri, I do NAET with my son Jack and I have seen positive result. Not as reactive to foods. It is a long process. I have even seen differences in stool color and other physical differences. It is dependent on your practitioner. There is a web sight at called allergyrelatedvaccineinducedautism. Check it out. nne > I've just found someone local who does NAET, to " clear " allergies. Does > anyone have experience with this, good or bad? Guest guest
Terri, I tried NAET with my son, 9, DX Asperger's Syndrome. We had a terrible experience. We went once or twice weekly for about 3 - 4 months. He had to have numerous " repeat " treatments as he seemed not to be clearing many items. Unfortunately the treatments cause horrendous reactions, very agitated, violent, aggressive and crazy. During the time between treatments he would get very agitated if he didn't pass the treatment. We finally concluded that he was just too sensitive to continue the treatments. I was really sorry it didn't work out as I understand some people have very good results. Guest guest
Terry: We take our son to an NAET practitioner trained by Dr. Nabrumpad for nearly three months. We strongly believe in the practice - we have found that our son has many unknown allergies that have been cleared through treatment. Feel free to e-mail us personally with your home phone number to discuss this. We absolutely believe that it is essential that Your Practitioner must have been trainer directly by Dr. Nambrupad, as our practitioner has been. Sincerely, Barb and Jim Schapperle
Guest guest
Regardless of who trained them, they hvae to do it the way they were taught (many who learned it from Dr. Devi innovate and it doesn't work). I personally had great results from it. Andy > Terry: > > We take our son to an NAET practitioner trained by Dr. Nabrumpad for nearly > three months. Guest guest
I am troubled by this statement - I was assured that NAET would absolutely help my son as well and after many months of treatments he was much worse than when we started. Thankfully he did not have anaphylactic reactions but based on the severe regression and behavioral difficulties my son had while undergoing NAET I would strongly caution anyone considering trying it. Pat (not PAT O) Just to add on to this. We spent about $800 on BioSET, a form of NAET. There were no positive or negative results. We left after the doctor sold us *enzymes* which we found out, after our son had a bad reaction, had barley malt in them. We felt very angry because she knew our son was gf/cf. Anyway, YMMV, but we felt we wasted both our time and money. I would not recommend NAET or BioSET to anyone. Our experiences on Houston's enzymes has, in general, been positive. Gerry does seem to have some reflux problems, and we still haven't been able to get the dosages quite right. But the good stuff, improved attitude and better bowels, has outweighed the negative. Guest guest
Years ago someone asked Dr Devi if her tx plan worked for chemical sensitivities and the answer was no, its only for 'traditionak' allergies. don't waste your money, [] NAET Has anyone ever tried this treatment for mold allergies? If so, did it help? Thanks
Guest guest
I tried it, had several treatments by a pro, thoroughly studied Dr. Nambidripad's (ps?) book and after each session I could feel my immune-system was very powerfully being challenged and changed. It was intense and quite a drain on my system, however. My body still gets the same headaches and reactions to mold-toxins that it always has. ly, I cannot tell any difference in anything I was suffering from. I did not ask for my money back, simply because perhaps it did something for me that I cannot tell, however, I do have to wonder if all that money and time was a total waste, at least for my case. I know another lady who's daughter was grately benefited by it, as well as herself. Before, they were allergic to milk/gluten, and now they are not. I trust her well too. But mold and mercury are toxins, no matter how the immune system is programmed. Any intelligent immune system is going to " react " to such things to get them the hell out of the body and make the body avoid being near it in the first place. I think that many people " are not affected " by the mold, because their immune systems are so indifferent and sick, that it does not bother to keep the person's temple in a healthy/clean state. > > Has anyone ever tried this treatment for mold allergies?
