Guest guest
Larry, How did you accomplish that? I know people who have been waiting quite some time for battery reimbursement. Did you talk to anyone in particular at Medicare and/or Cochlear? I'm sue for a new case of batteries myself very soon and would like to know how you went about this. Details, details please... <smile> Left ear - Nucleus 24 Contour Advance with 3G Implanted: 12/22/04 Activated: 1/18/05 Right ear - Nucleus Freedom Implanted: 2/1/06 Activated: 3/1/
Guest guest
About a week ago, I finally got the Medicare reimbursement for the batteries I bought a year ago (May 2005). That's one down; now to wait for the reimbursement for batteries I've bought since then. :-) Pam (in Anchorage) ----- Original Message ----- From: larry wilson I have a bit of good news today. I had a Medicare reimbursement for a case of batteries for $158.59. I applied for it a month ago. I use the premium batteries. Larry
Guest guest
hi , After ordering the batteries from Cochlear, I asked for the reimbursement department and they filled out the form for me over the telephone and told me exactly what I was entitled to with Medicare. I did not deal with Medicare directly. Larry Re: Medicare reimbursement > Larry, > > How did you accomplish that? I know people who have been waiting quite > some > time for battery reimbursement. Guest guest
Yes, Medicare is my provider. Since I am unemployed, they are my only provider. You must call Cochlear on the phone yourself and ask for the reimbursement department after purchasing the batteries over the telephone with credit or debit card to get positive results.
