Guest guest
While each state has its own WC laws I have found the differences to be of little significance for anything other than benefits... I'm believing criteria for classification of a disability is pretty uniform... If you would learn the general rules and practices from one jurisdiction it should be easy to confirm any detail from the WC Commission of your state... Just call the state office and ask to speak to an examiner and ask your question that needs confirmation... Hopefully it will be that easy... If not then a letter to the state commission asking for confirmation of a detail should generate an immediate response.. I find the state commission is more of an information and enforcement agency between the claimant, the employer and the insurance company who is obligated to obey the WC laws of the state.. Of course when the claimant is not happy with how the insurance company is handling the claim the dispute is settled in court.. Hope this helps... ken ====================== ----- Original Message ----- From: Page, <mailto:pageang@...> <mailto: > Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2004 8:53 AM Subject: [] take charge of your workers comp. case for CA I mistakingly bought Take Charge of your Workers' COmpensation Case from Amazon, not knowing the subtitle said : " for California.
