I had my band removed in Sept and having the sleeve on Jan 7th. Tell me your

story and feelings. I am nervous. I have had 4 months of eating normal and

nervous to go back. Strange as before when I had the band I got used to my life

of throwing up that it was strange to not have that anymore. I have gained since

the band is gone and have accepted it. I know this is temporary. Anyway. What is

your story?

Hi ,

I remember you! My story is about the same as yours! I have had

my band empty for about 1 year and 1/2, have gained weight back

Was tired of the throwing up and feeling bad... I will be getting

my sleeve on January 18 and arriving on the 17th. I'm very nervous

but know Dr. Aceves is the best and I trust him completely!

Good Luck to you and all the rest of you that are having surgery.

Would have loved to see you, but you will be gone by the time I

get there, but please let's all keep in touch as we go thru this

journey.. Thanks to this board the help we receive is the best part

of getting this surgery, because everyone is so helpful. Please tell

us how you feeling after surgery~ gonna be following all of you ~

saying prayers for you all.

Hi ,

I'll come by and check on ya if you would like.. I will be in Jan. 17

and have surgery on the 18th. Would love to have a sleeve buddy or

buddies, the more the better! I've ordered injury and hope to have

all I need at home before I get back. Was wondering if you can just take

a large bag, like a green grocery bag on board the plane with you as

a purse? I was wanting to take that instead of purse or suitcase. I

don't plan on taking much with me other than that, which could be

considered a large purse! Very nervous, but very excited too! Hope

to meet lots of new friends and hope Bipley will come visit~pretty

please Bipley? ~have lots of questions for ya! Can't wait to see

everyone!

Thanks,

Deb

Deb,

I threw all my stuff in a beach bag and carried that instead of a purse. No

bags to check at the airport, and nothing to stuff in the overhead (I was afraid

of stretching after surgery) - it just stuffed under the seat like a purse.

Travel lite! (Just DON'T forget your heating pad!)
