Use a heating pad, try and relax and sip water slowly. I had a similar experience and used a heating pad and just had to learn to relax.

Let me know how you do.

i am on steroids and i think it did something to my band. it is so tight. I can't even swallow anything. perhaps one sip of juice. throwing up day and night. terrible heart burn. trying to figure out if i need to go to mexico and get this loosened or not. it would be alot of money from here. I can't go anywhere in alaska because most dr.s won't touch my band except for one... and he is on an extended personal leave. I am so stressed. what should I do???

Thank you I will try the heating pad now. I also wonder if it has to do with all

the plane trips I have been taking. Thank you for caring. It really is a

horrible feeling.:(

Not sure about that but pressure is pressure... It could it effects your ears and I think it very well could. It a small area now like an ear canal so perhaps.

The heating pad worked for me. I still use one when I have a bit of discomfort.

Let me know , elevate your feet and relax.

try warm tea; anything liquid that is warm. I used to eat soup for breakfast - cream types I made myself with fat free land of lakes half and half or purchase higher end cream soups that are not boring.

Good health Sidney

My band was so tight just on not fills - go to strict liquids and try different liquids. I tried water and couldn't do it but could do iced tea and warm green tea. Other days water fine, others no way.

Try it to settle things down then start on soft foods just like after the surgery.

Good Luck

It does not seem like a good position to be in without being able to drink. I think this can be dangerous. When does your doctor get back? Can it be loosened as an emergency in a hospital? Just some ideas. From: Innisfree in Alaska <knitteralaska@...> Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 11:30:34
