Guest guest
Hi Sue I have never used anything that you mix with food. I only have had Protein that I drink. And in the first month you have liquids for the first 20 days. I would suggest that you use a liquids that is drinkable. The first 10 days is the hardest one because you are unable to get a lot in because you just had surgery. Do the best you can--it is difficult to try to get in enough water and drink the 1st 10 days. I used some products from www.unjury.com they were ok, but not my favorite. I used the Chicken broth. Just buy some sample packets that is the best way to do it. The next 10 days was the better. I could have creamy and so I use a product that I purchase at Costco. It is Premier Protein Drink. I love it. Give it a try, if you feel it is too thick put a few ice cubes in a blender and pour the drink in blend it with the ice cubes, it isn't so think and cream if you do that. Dr. Aceves office mentioned this but am having a hard time finding it with so many products out there! Am I searching incorrectly? I am scheduled for surgery and want to have options without any taste, I get bored with sweet tastes very fast. Thanks a bunch! Sue
Guest guest
There is no such thing as a non flavored whey protein. It tastes like whey. The flavorings are to cover up the flavor of whey which.... btw, sucks. On Sat, Mar 26, 2011 at 4:11 PM, <SuzanneSH@...> wrote: Hi Sue I have never used anything that you mix with food. Guest guest
MMMmm the ice cubes sound good, thank you. I have heard the isopure is awful this is why I am looking into mixing the tasteless protein powder in jello o broth. If I find it I will post it for anyone with a surgery date coming up.
