Then something is obviously wrong. You likely don't have the right dose or

are not following the proper protocol, foods, etc. But no way to know

without more info.

Are you taking HHCG or RX HCG? What's your dose? What are you eating and how

much? How much water are you drinking?

wt loss

I actually have to loose 30 pounds and in 24 days have only lost 10.

It has been very frustrating and from the first day of VLCD I have been

starving. I have had 1 day that I was not hungry.

Yes, it is very common. And it is right on time too. It happens 4-6 weeks after surgery. Your body is just stabilizing after the big weight drop. Don't worry, stick to the program and the weight loss will continue. The pause was like two weeks for me.-DennisSent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: "tonya" <tbrown0407@...>Sender: Date: Fri, 08 Jul 2011 03:44:15 -0000< >Reply Subject: wt loss Ok so I am like 6 weeks out and have lost 31 lbs but i ave not lose any in the last 3 weeks and i am really freakin out. is this normal. i am having a really hard time with protein and just can not get it in because of taste. some one out there please help...!

Tonya....when u say u don't like the taste of "protein", what kind are you talking about....Ready made shakes, powders, food (meat, poultry, fish)??Its very normal to fluctuate, but I have learned the more foods u take in the more the weight comes off. I'm not going to tell u step by step what to do cuz I made my own way, they way that works for me may not work for you. I don't drink enough water, I don't eat enough protein, I don't exercise enough, I eat less then 600 calories a day and not on purpose, I just eat when I'm hungry or think about it. So I am doing everything wrong according to the Dr. And all other sleevers, but I still continue to lose....so it works for me. But anyway you should try different protein shakes, I use a powder cuz the ready made ones suck! I eat a lot of chicken, turkey, salmon and cheese. So u can figure it out, what ever works for you will be fine. Keep small portions, don't snack and don't eat sweets...you will lose weight!!!Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: "tonya" <tbrown0407@...>Sender: Date: Fri, 08 Jul 2011 03:44:15 -0000< >Reply Subject: wt loss Ok so I am like 6 weeks out and have lost 31 lbs but i ave not lose any in the last 3 weeks and i am really freakin out. is this normal. i am having a really hard time with protein and just can not get it in because of taste. some one out there please help...!

Hi,

This is very normal. So don't panic. Have you tried Premier Protein Drink--I get mine at Costco. If you have a hard time with what you are drinking ask others what they drink. To tone the taste down I put mine in the blender with about 4 or 5 ice cubes and that helps a lot. Try putting some frozen or fresh strawberries in the blender too. Add a little flavoring in like vanilla. Stay away from bananas because they have too many carbs in them. Are you witting EVERYTHING down that you are putting in your mouth. You might be amazed at how many calories you are eating. You need to keep it at 800 calories and NO more than 20 carbs per day. Your carbs should be whole grain carbs. No white refined carbs. Check those things all out and then increase your exercise a little more too. I promise you that your weight loss will start up again.

Hugs,

Suzanne

If you don't consume enough protein you lose muscle and not fat.  Or, too much muscle and little fat.  If you don't drink enough water you harm your kidneys.  You may well be losing now but you'll pay the price in the end.  I speak from experience.

I'm 9 months out from my sleeve and have had multiple " plateaus " , the first one

lasting 2-3 weeks and starting about 1 month out from surgery. Do NOT worry!!

The weight will continue to come off, but its not a predictable sort of thing.

Do the best you can to get the protein in, and gradually start increasing your

exercise because it will just make you feel better in your body and increase

your strength.
