Guest guest
, girl I'm so sorry... I'm new to the list and a year ago Oct 13th, my husband and lost everything you listed including our pets... We've had an attorney for a few months, but I certainly don't look forward to the legal process...esp. hearing your hard news. I wonder if going down that road and continually reliving the loss is even worth it. Losing everything to mold is a horror story no one can imagine unless they've been through it. Even our friends who witnessed our losses and ongoing health problems are about fed up with us and our mold drama and continued hypersensitivity. I guess they want it to go away cuz nobody wants to think it could happen to them... That said, please know you are in our thoughts. I realize it may be too soon for you to hear this, but I know it's harder than heck most days, but we gotta get on with our lives and focus on what is right, not what is wrong--even if the right is just one tiny thing. The mold already took everything, we have to do our best not to allow it to it capture your future hopes too... Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I know your pain only too well. My heart goes out to you and your family. Guest guest
Its hard that no one wants to understand. I got sick at work and then they forced me out on disability but lied about it. All my friends at work were gone. Drama is a good word. The hypersensitivity, the illnesses, the asthma, the joint pain so bad its hard to walk....I am alone all the time Even my own Dad doesn't get it. Its so hard! No one close wants to understand. Guest guest
Dear , We are all so sorry to hear about the outcome of your case. Now may be the time for you to become vocal with your story, contact news stations, your local papers and let everyone know what has happened to you and your family. Usually they do not put a gag order on the cases we lose, just the cases we win, that is their way of telling the world " see mold doesn't do what they say. " Also, the telling of your story may help others even in a round about way to face the true facts about mold. Most people know that mold causes damage, but little do they realize how devastating it is to a family in all aspects of their lives, not just in material possessions but in emotional, physical, financial, etc. You can contact me at anytime if you need to vent. Our prayers and thoughts are with you, especially at this time. KC --- In , " Aidans Mom " <primerrily@g...> wrote: > > Hard to even talk about, but our jury trial has ended. Guest guest
Janet, You are not alone when you are on this website. I'm new to it, but I have been a member of another MCS website and have received a tremendous amount of support on it. I have been sick for many years, and I've been through the same things you are taking about. I would be glad to e-mail with you about my experiences and suggestions if you would like, and I'd like to learn more about you. I am very busy taking care of myself, but I always make some time to reach out to others who have MCS. There can be life after MCS and that life sometimes comes in strange ways. After many years of being isolated from family and friends, I have finally been figuring out how to reach out and mend things with some people. Others are gone forever, but I have to move on. This didn't happen until I was able to finally start improve healthwise. I had to figure out what would help me get better and follow through with it. Please take care of yourself. Remember, none of this is your fault, so try not to take the blame. > Its hard that no one wants to understand. I got sick at work and then they > forced me out on disability but lied about it.
