Be prepared for family to not agree with your choice and some people may tell you how wrong you are--they are scared and uneducated about WLS. What I want you to know is you DO NOT need their approval. You are doing the right thing. You will have great support from some of your friends too. We are ALL here to support you and answer all your questions. We know what you are thinking and all the emotions and fears you are feeling. We have already lived and walked where you are about to go. Go for it you have made an excellent choice. You deserve to have this surgery. You are going to become healthy happy and skinny. Please ask any question you want. There are NO bad question. I am always an E-mail away if you get scared. I read mine everyday. It is really normal to have all kinds of feeling and emotions. You are in the very BEST hands that you could ask for.
