I am in Mexico! But I got Morgellons while living in New York. Ever

since I moved here, it's probably 95% gone. Where/how did you guys

acquire this thing? Mine came from a piece of furniture that was

refurbished. Weirdest critter I'd ever seen.

I got my mites of a bird's nest on top of the office building i was working in

at the time. Moving to a new office did not help the situation at all.

Southern Appalachia mountains, mine came from a nest on my family room window.

The birds were thrashers. But I also had a house wren off my bedroom porch. She

has stayed determined to nest in the spring. We continue the battle until she

finally gives up:)

Jess,What kind of diet are you following now? How much do you think that helps, if at all?Hugs Sent from my iPodOn Apr 27, 2011, at 1:34 PM, jessnyc <helpnynow@...> wrote:

Hi ,

Well, to be honest, I doubt diet was a factor in my case. I tried to

lower my carbs for some periods of time, but those periods were

followed by some big carb times that would have undone anything I

might have accomplished with carb reduction.

I did see a decrease in Morgs symptoms every time I moved, though.

It's hard to hypothesize because I don't understand the nature of

this creature. And I was always doing several protocols at the same

time, so it's hard to give conclusive evidence. My humble opinion on

this whole thing is that they seem to hatch in places you visit and

travel with you in your belongings, clothing and in you. And it is a

vicious cycle because they're always reproducing very rapidly around

you.

The most I feel right now is some prickles in my head a couple of

times a day, and not necessarily every day. That's about it. But if

I go back to my family's home, I do feel more prickles, but probably

just during the first day. Then things settle and I'm alright.

There's days with hardly anything.. So I guess it does have

something to do with moving, with getting rid of infested things,

and with cleaning around and washing clothing religiously.

I remember when I was back in NYC, I infested someone else's home.

That home only got cleaned about once a week. I cleaned my place

everyday, several times a day, with an army of organic cleaners and

other ingredients (vinegar, alcohol, etc.) I did get some relief

while following these cleaning rituals. Well, one day I returned to

this other person's infested home and I got triple swarmed by these

things all over again. I brought them back home and had to start

from zero. I never went back to this place.

So since the beginning I saw this big connection. These things seem

to throw eggs everywhere you go, infest places you visit and

continue to reproduce and jump back at you when you're back to these

places. Now check what I did: I moved from my apt and threw all

furniture and most cotton clothing. I stayed at a hotel for a few

days, switching rooms everyday. I moved from there and went to

Texas. Stayed for a couple of days. Then I drove to Mexico and

visited family up north. Then I drove south and stayed somewhere

else. Then I moved around a few more times, and every place I went,

I continued to clean, clean, clean. This whole thing might have just

finished them... Or almost..  So if they tried to hatch everywhere I

went, I just kept leaving them behind and never returned to these

places. They no longer seem to reproduce in the numbers they used

to.

I know this sounds like an ordeal, but it was not planned this way,

it just happened. But it worked.

How are you doing these days?

I'm doing great! I just got an e-mail from Nina which had accidentally kept me from receiving mail from you all. I appreciate you getting back with me. I'm incredibly excited. I just hit my 6 months anniversary last Friday - I have lost 82 lbs so far! I've gone from a size 20 and have now gone into a size EIGHT!!!!!

Thank you Dr. Aceves.

Hey Sally,

Great to hear from you. Congratulations on the 82 pounds. You are doing a terrific job. Sounds like you are really excited and with good reason--size 8 way to go. I am so glad that you are able to post again. Keep coming back and letting us know how you are doing.

Hugs,

Suzanne
