I am almost 4 months out of surgery and I just noticed this starting about 3-4 weeks ago. Luckily I have plenty to spare, LOL

About 2-3 mos. out for me. Start taking your Biotin now. It won't stop the hair loss, but it will help with regrowth of the new stuff.

For me it was a gradual loss, not clumps coming out. I think it started

around 6-8 mos. (I think). It's still growing back in after 2 yrs. post

op. I have extensions in my hair because of thin hair anyway, and when

they are removed and maintenance beauty appts., I look like I have

kitten fuzz on my head. Part of that is from wearing extensions anyway,

and part of that is from overall loss. Of course, aging causes hair loss

and I'm an older gal (but younger looking thanks to my fabulous cosmetic

surgeon in Bend, Oregon - Dr. Gallagher - shameless plug, sorry).

Anyway, it's different for everyone. My hair did NOT grow back in curly

as some people's do/did, though. It does have a more wiry texture,

though, but that's cause I'm naturally gray/white hair (since my 20's,

it's a genetic thing), so there is more " texture " now. Whatever, I use a

flat iron and create beachy waves on the extensions and it all blends

pretty well. So, more info than you needed, but that's my story.

At 3 mths and just slowing down now at 7 mths. :) Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.                                               - Henry FordSent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "debra.garza@..." <debra.garza@...>Sender: Date: Sun, 09 Oct 2011 15:37:48 -0000< >Reply Subject: Hair Loss Question For those of you who have lost hair as a result of their sleeve:About how soon did you start to lose hair?-Debbi

For me, hairloss didn't start until 6 months and it still continues at 9 months. I do have new growth and the loss seems to be slowing down but still happening.

Hi Everyone. I am14 months out and still losing hair. I have had some growth but i have to wear hair pieces. I had such fine hair and always kept it short, now its just easier to put a hair piece on. Does it get better? Jana303/195/135 From: dbanning2@...Date: Mon, 10 Oct 2011 19:10:36 +0000Subject: Re: Hair Loss Question

For me it was about 3 months after surgery and it came back about 8 months after surgery. I promise it does come back,
