Ok, I know better than to weigh every day. I also know that weight can fluxuate for no apparent reason. But why the....!!?!?!

I weigh 2 pounds more than I did two days ago!! What's up with this?

I have not cheated. I have not done anything that I've not supposed to have done other than drinking a bit too fast yesterday. For one thing, I've healed enough and swelling has gone down enough to do so and I'd missed the instruction about "no more than 2 oz in 15 minutes." (Which I will be observing now.)

So why have I gained weight!?!?!

Ok, I'll quit sniveling now.

I am sooo confused.

, By your name, I assume you are a woman. In making that assumption, I will also assume that you share the same hormones as all other women. I will also assume that you, too, can have water weight gain, bloating, etc. just as all other women. Don't sweat the 2 pound gain. Realize that your weight will fluctuate very, very often depending upon the time of day, the barometric pressure outside, the time of the month, the temperature, blah blah blah. You cannot control all of these variables. The one variable that YOU can control is the amount of your caloric intake. As long as you are doing that, the weight will continue to come off even if there is a gain here and there due to the uncontroallable variables. Don't get bent out of shape. Just keep on doing what you know you need to do and it will balance out, I promise! 2 pounds is nothing to get you upset. Keep a

watch on it, sure, but don't beat yourself up. Be patient and work with your body to get the numbers to move. It could be because of the time that you weighed, you will weigh less in the early AM than in the PM. Or with me I can always tell when I haven't had enough H20 I will always be up a couple of pounds. Don't fret to much over a couple of pounds just think back and see what you might have done the day before that could have caused it. Some people just don't do good weighing everyday because of the weight fluctuations, but if you can use it as a tool to help you keep on tract that is good. Also some foods that are high in sodium will make you retain fluid. So you might want to look at that too.

Thanks y'all. :o) Yeah, I know all those things but I want it all and

I want it all now!! ;o) Let me be reminded of who told herself, " I'll

be happy with the recommended 2 pounds per week loss. " Considering

that, I'm still about 3 weeks to the good. ;o)

I think I just needed to vent. :oD

Y'all are the best.

Aren't you on clears? Broth and such? That contains a great deal of sodium. It's probably extra water weight. If I eat Chinese food I load it with soy sauce. I can gain weight immediately with that stuff.

Don't sweat it, you are going to fluctuate the whole time you are losing weight. It's all good!!On Feb 4, 2008 11:01 AM, eeliegirl <eelie@...> wrote:
