Guest guest
Hey! I forgot to do my Onederland post!! I was under 200 on April 18th and now down to a size 14! Congrats and thanks for the reminder that I should have shared my own!! "Enjoy your body: use it every way you can. Guest guest
That's so great! We're all proud of you. I hope you're taking shrinking pictures of yourself - you will forget what you look like in another 50 lbs or so. Now we have to get you to join the "I lost 100 lbs. club." I just joined it this morning!! I'm so excited. From 230 to 130 in 9 months - I can actually see air between my thighs when I stand upright (all the girls will know what a milestone that is!) Keep up the good work! Sally From: kekerene@...Date: Tue, 4 Oct 2011 11:25:47 -0500Subject: RE: Onederland! Awesome, that is fantastic!!! Guest guest
Very little time to exercise with the constraints of my schedule at work. But, I do try to eat healthy - getting my protein and fluids in. Veggies and fruits when I can. White flour really gives me gas, so I avoid it. I need to stop losing now and start maintaining. It's a different mindset - has anybody else had an issue with this? What do you all do to keep yourself at the appropriate weight? Guest guest
I had this problem went down to 98 lbs, started drinking Ensure two times a day and gain the weight back. Now I am and have been at my ideal weight for one year 104 lbs. Feel great and the extra calories in the Ensure helps, you can also by a sugar free drink. Starting weight 198. Guest guest
Ms. Sally- WOW, you have done fantastic. I remember before you had the surgery and were still trying to decide if it was right for you. Can you believe it. I am at 122-130 now (down from 215). I could go lower, but like how I look. I am still doing protein drinks once a day and added extra snacks/meals- I am eating about 5-6 times per day. And this is probably bad, but if I want something like a sweet treat, I have it. Mind you now it is a fudgesickle instead of a 1/2 gallon of ice cream. I have found that this works for me. I also love popcorn so I eat that often. I have been at this weight for the past 2-3 months. If I get more restrictive then I start losing again and I am happy where I am at. Kuddos to your success. Remind me are you both a CNM and FNP. I recently moved to Colorado and we are in search of a dual certified NP/CNM. If you know anyone send them my way.
