AHHHHHH! Bipley! I have curly hair now too! I have NEVER had curly hair....I didn't realize it until one day I thought....why has my hair changed.....well, from three years ago until now (VSG surgery)....my hair has become curly! I love it! I can style it straight or curly...whatever I please. Of course, it is thinner now from age, hormones, and the surgery....but when it is curly, it has a ton of volume and looks thicker!Yay!Gail

Nope, unfortunately, mine re-grew exactly the same as it was. I did not get curly hair (like some inc. Suzanne did). Of course I color my hair from white/gray to blond, but my stylist keeps telling me that she sees new growth which is the best part. I'm 2 years post-op and down 126 pounds which is around where I settled, going up and down within a 5 pound range depending on the stars, moon cycles, weather, tides, you name it, etc. FYI: My DH started weighing himself daily after I was on my WL journey, and he stresses over being up 2 pounds! I keep telling him to stay OFF the scale. Of course, the come back comment is YOU DO IT. Yeah, so? It's different for me; I'm obsessive.

Hi ,

Mine came back in curly like Bipley's and I NEVER had curly hair before. It is NOT darker, but now I kind of like my curly hair. I have more body to my hair now and I needed that.

This is the silliest thing but I haven't had any gray come out since the

surgery. I used to color my hair every six weeks to color the few gray hairs

but It's been over 10 weeks and still no gray hairs. I thought it was the new

shampoo I've been using.
