Good morning everyone :)

Any last word for me? Lol, I'm scheduled for surgery this Monday 7-25 and am so

excited! I'm just a little worried that my passport isn't here yet.

Well, today is Monday so I guess I am a little late but I will be praying

everything will/has gone well with your sleeve and that your recovery is going

well and and everything is going exactly as it should!

Yes, take GAS-X thin strips with you--at least 2 boxes of them--you will be glad you have them. They are easy to use and will just melt in your mouth. You are going to experience a lot of gas after surgery and they do not have Gas-X in Mexico--they pump gas in your abdomen area during surgery to give them room to work--the gas is part of your pain after the surgery --so the Gas-X works wonders for you .

I know you have all kinds of feelings and emotions. This really is quite normal to have all these. I will say this but it won't stop your feelings and emotions. YOU are going to be just fine and are in excellent hands--the best there are.

Ernesto may be late picking you up at the airport in San Diego. This is pretty normal too. He has more than one place to pick people up in this airport. Just find a place to sit down and he will come walking by where you pick up your bags with your name on a sign. Tell Dr. Aceves and Ernesto Suzanne said Hi.

Keep us posted.

Hugs,

Suzanne

I think if I remember correctly Nina said that you can bring the receipt showing that you did apply for your passport and just bring a valid drivers license and birth certificate and that would be fine if your passport does not arrive in time. Check will Nina to confirm that. You will do fine. I am post-op 4 weeks now and feel great. Dr. A and staff are amazing. Good Luck to you!
