Guest guest
<<It went well yesterday. There were alot of staffers and some very influential individuals that are now listening to what we have to say, wanting more information and promising to get involved. Two people who had never met before in person, grabbed her and said she had saved their lives from Mold-Help. After hearing their stories, she did! Today is EPA day. (Please write a letter, email or call the Environmental Protection Agency re: moldy buildings) We got our packets out to most of Congress. The testimonies of victims in the briefing was incredibly powerful. Bianca did a great job. (Hoping for press coverage - anyone see any?)>> (Note: the above was emailed to me by Sharon K. from DC MDAwareness organizer) I asked Sharon if she would find out if video footage was available to offer those who couldn't go. PS Dr. Shoemaker thought it was an excellent session for all. Be encouraged! Also, this week, I was interviewed (by satellite) by CBS Affiliate in Knoxville, TN, re: a Jefferson County High School, where they were having Air Conditioning Shop Class students cleaning out the HVAC of a moldy school. It was in the news - sent by Google - and I contacted the reporter one day and superintendent two days later. Even from our homes we can be effective in sending out our message and supporting others suffering in moldy places! I encourage you all to do that too. KC (thank you) told me that if you want to read the news stories about something you go to Google Alerts, type in the key words you want (I wanted mold, school mold, fungi) and it emails you the news link every day, maybe five a day. Then I contact those in the article if I can, if they need some help - or the reporter. You could, too! _http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en_ (http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en) is the Google Alert address. Sue
